About the Event

What: International Avant-Garde Film Awards is an NYC-based film festival that showcases unique and experimental films from across the world.

When: The first annual IAG Film awards was held on December 14th, 2023. Dates for the 2024 event will be announced in April of 2024.

Where: Quad Cinema, one of first and most iconic arthouse cinemas in NYC. Located at 34 W. 13th St. between 5th and 6th Avenues.

The Lowdown: This year’s festival will be an intimate screening of mostly short films, all of which push artistic boundaries to the extreme, some of which are downright trippy. Several of the filmmakers will be on hand to discuss their films afterward.

After-Party: After the screenings, we will move the party to Reyna, a cocktail bar and restaurant located one block away at 11 E 13th Street.
